“Quiet Monday” at the beach
“Quiet Monday” started with the idea of creating a “simple”, “easy” painting however, it became something so much more. The overall composition is simplistic but if you look closely, you will see this painting is filled complexity… from the waves peaking through the labyrinth of brushstrokes making up lifeguard tower #18, to the organic, impasto footprints indicating that even in seemingly solitude, we are always surrounded by the energy of others.

I LOVE creating big!
I tell people that I am like a goldfish… the bigger the studio I am in, the bigger the art I create! I additionally learned from talking to people in MB that I have a lot of big things I have done in my art career that few here know about… here is a good one.
“Block Party” is a 23ft x 72ft mural in the Wynwood Art District of Miami. This was painted in 2022. Click the picture to see the full scale of this piece :)
